Vision

The objective of Mithila Chitrakala Sansthan, Madhubani, is to preserve the ancient and rich tradition of Mithila painting, give it global recognition, and strengthen the cultural heritage of Bihar through folk arts. The institute is working toward making art a medium of sustainable development and cultural renaissance.

Mission

  1. To promote training, study, and research in Mithila painting and other folk arts.
  2. To create employment opportunities for folk artists and connect their art to the market.
  3. To encourage the recognition and presence of Mithila painting at national and international levels.
  4. To raise awareness and inspire the younger generation about Mithila art and culture.

Objectives
