Mithila Chitrakala Sansthan, Madhubani, Bihar’s objective for its establishment is under the administrative control of the Department of Art, Culture and Youth Affairs, Govt of Bihar, Patna. Mithila Chitrakala Sansthan, Madhubani has been established in Bihar to develop, study, research, record, nature, promote and coordinate its activities in the field of Mithila painting and other folk arts and through it the state’s A state-level autonomous and fully maintained Mithila Painting Institute for the promotion and protection of healthy folk cultural traditions, Madhubani has been established.
